Spent the last week in Western NY chasing trophy Brown trout. Despite the tough low and clear water conditions we were faced with we did manage to land some real nice fish.

Here is Ernie with a huge male Brown Trout taken on the fly and released unharmed for another angler to enjoy...!!!

We used the fly rods and a assortment of flies to tackle these monster Browns. We had our best success on pastel colored egg patterns and nymphs in size #12. We ran 4x fluorocarbon tippet most days. The old saying that the early bird gets the worm held true! I only wish I had the room here to post all of the pictures from our trip.

This fish will look good on Anthony's wall. It was a fight to remember...!!!
